The River Hog Matting is designed for deeper water sluices such as dredges. However one great feature is the ability to trim the large riffle to the operator's flow rate. So, it can be adjusted a used in a wide varety of products. We have even tested this mat in the mini highbanker with great results. A very agressive face pattern uses a large riffle to cause traditional "flow interruption vortexes". The drop chambers and the PRE-RAMP grooves catch gold often befor it even hits the riffle. We recommed that this mat be used in combination with the Scrubber and Razorback or even UR mat in most dedges.
